FirePower Movie #1
This movie
demonstrates a good overall sense of what FirePower is about. You will see more close-ups of the cockpits
and effects.

Enhanced Battlefield
Environment v.2.0:
This movie puts you in
a sole B-17 making a low-level attack on an enemy airbase at night. Notice the enhanced lighting. As you approach the airfield, you can even
see the anti-aircraft guns firing at you.

Mini-Documentary:
FirePower Series
Certified Aircraft have taken flight modeling to a level not yet seen on a
personal computer. This would not have
been possible without the help of over 30 WWII veteran pilots, and many pilots
who fly these planes today. You can
hear a few of the pilots that helped us develop the FirePower Certified
Aircraft standards.

He-162 on takeoff:
This is a video of a
simple take-off, which helps to demonstrate the depth and detail of how a
FirePower Series Certified Aircraft handles on both the ground and in the
air. Notice the realistic
ground-handling physics, and how the cockpit gets bumped and jarred. As the aircraft picks up speed, and lift
increases, you can feel how the aircraft gradually lightens up, gets pushed
from side to side, and eventually takes flight. Each and every FirePower aircraft exhibits its own specific and
unique qualities, making just going from one cockpit to the next an experience
in itself.

Stalls and spins:
Just like different
animals, some aircraft are tame, others are not. Here you can see what happens when an inexperienced pilot grabs
the controls of the Dewointine D520, French front line fighter. This pilot learns what happens when he
ham-fists the flight controls of a thoroughbred. Show no respect, and it can bite you back. This film is taken during a friendly free
flight. The middle of a battle is no
place to learn how to fly.

Visual Effects and
Weapons:
The five movies below
are short and to the point in terms of demonstrating the weapon effects you
will see in FirePower. These movies
just scratch the surface of what you will experience when you see these effects
up close, on your own monitor.
Firing Range:
This was sort of an
unorthodox, yet effective way to demonstrate the depth of FirePower’s weapons
and effects. We loaded up various
FirePower guns, and put the camera close in on the effects. The closer you get to these effects, the
better they look. This movie shows you
the variety of gun-hit effects, based on the type and size of projectile
loaded. The guns featured are the .50
cal browning machine gun, 20mm Hispano cannon, 30mm MK108 cannon, 50mm BK
cannon, and the 155mm artillery.

Jet Attack:
Germany’s deadly Ta183
that never saw action was in development to intercept the B29’s that the Axis
feared were coming. The Ta813 could
have also served as a powerful ground attack platform, as you will see in this
video.

Big airborne guns in
action:
You will see the Me410
attack bombers at night with standard machine guns and cannons. In the 2nd half of this video,
you can see what a powerful 50mm projectile can do to a 4-engined bomber, and
ground targets. The 50mm is the “one
hit wonder” with any flying aircraft it makes contact with.

Shelling Sub Base:
This is simply about
the environment that surrounds FirePower.
You are viewing ships bombarding a sub base from various static
positions. Notice the wide variety of
explosions and smoke from various building types hit. This level of dynamics and detail has never been seen in any type
of simulation. It is fun just to watch,
so just try to imagine fighting for survival inside of this environment.

Bombers:
This video
demonstrates what a medium and heavy level bombers can do to ground
targets. You will see footage of the
B17, Lancaster, and the B29 dropping various sized bombs on ground targets.
