Hi there

Ive just decided to give Bob2 a spin as there is clearly a way to go with COD !

Im really impressed ! A bit creaky in some aspects re graphics but very good in others. Most importantly Im impressed by the immersion and the AI. These are the main things that seem to be lacking with COD and Rof, they look great but are dumb as ducks !

Well done all involved.

So are there any must have Mods and a place to find them ?

Stickman seems to be a Mod factory ! ... is his sticky the main place to find Mods ?

Thanks all

Welcome to BOBII and the BOBII forums and community.

When getting started it is best to take it slow as BOBII has a long learning curve if you want to check out all its 100's of features and options. You best source of information is the BOBII User Manual (it is located in your BOBII folder in the Docs folder).

Most of the "mods" are added to the code base as they are checked out by the players but Stickman's mod threade is the best place to start. You might also want to check out all the "sticky threads" on all the forums (General, Technical, and Q&A).

BOBII has a dynamic campaign so missions are done dynamicly as the day to day campaign progresses depending on the how the campaign progress. The commander campaign is where you command the RAF or LUF during the BOB and the pilot campaign is where you just fly missions as a pilot (the pilot campaign is discussed in the pilot campaign manual in your BOBII folder in the Docs folder).

Welcome kgwanchos. I am guessing that you have the 2.11 update installed. It's a big change over the default versions. That has most of what you will need. The rest is to personal preference, as Buddye points out.

Watch your back. It's dangerous up there!
