To my understanding the F-104 is a project that was previously being worked on by Michael P. (not sure how to spell his last name) before Scott brought him on to the A2A team. It is that project that is being tweaked and experimented on for the turbo jet Accusim model. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong on that, but way back in an old development video when they brought him on I remember something to that effect being discussed. Granted I may have misunderstood what was said at that point in time. See here @ about 9 minutes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOwK8sfF ... ature=plcp . The old Accusim bucket is probably going to have to expand in to a bath tub of pool for these jets. Will certaintly be interesting to see how it all pans out. No doubt it will be good though.

I think that the a2a staff hasn't "underestimated" anything at this point. Honestly I would not be surprised if more was done that A2A has let out yet. The biggest question I have towards the F-104 and the F-4 Phantom II is if inside the accu-sim menu, like the P-51, will have a stores manager.

I'd bet my paycheck on that, Scott is good at keeping things under the vest.

The F-104 model was created from scratch for Accu-Sim by Michal after joining A2A.

No matter what you simulate, it can and always will be a bucket. It is only those who can't manage to set priorities that drown by the weight of their own work.

An example would be the 377 Captain of the Ship. This is the reason we don't have the mega-detailed maintenance hangar for the 377 that our B-17 has. Instead, we put the live crew and passenger AI and had enough room to make a pretty smart engineer to manage that panel.

Accu-Sim is accepting the F-104 nicely so far. Once the F-104 is finished, we will then sculpt the Phantom project.

Scott.

Great stuff but not the news I hoped for. A longer wait for the 104 and no more large multi prop planes on the horizon.

Thanks,Scott and to all the team too.
Good show on the Piper Cherokee and Cessna as well. The Cherokee will always have a special place in my soul,in that it was the PA-28-140 I took my first hour of instruction in,and later completed my Private with as well as alot of trips thereafter. My Username is that very airplane.
Thanks You
Mark S.

Looking forward to the Cherokee, we have two at our club, one which gets used heavily for teaching IFR. Will be nice to compare with the A2A model, once I get my hands on it.

Heh, for some reason I thought empeck was Robek - I had you two mixed up.

Finally a 172 worth flying in FSX.

Thank you guys for giving us some teasers of the F104 and F4. Was chewing on the pencil before, now I'm flat out sanding it down to the lead in anticipation.

Hi Scott And Company I just wanted to say that your Planes are by far the Most Realistic and funnest to fly in FSX. Keep up the great work and I cannot wait for the Cessna 172 and the Piper to be released. I will finally have a couple of planes to add to my hangar along with your Piper Cub
