Sound issues

Have recently installed your C172..into P3D V4...problem being that there is no engine sound in the cockpit. Outside sounds, such as movement along the runway are fine and can be heard from within the cockpit, but once you ritate...total silence! Yes I have checked that the sound sliders are in the right position. There is no problems with other aircraft I have installed (competitors) including the default ones...(only exception is the Majestic Dash 8...I am sending them an email as well). Any suggestions?

first thing to check is to ask if you installed the P3Dv4 C172 and are not trying to install old software onto the platform?

Hi.
When you say you checked the sound sliders , did you mean the sims or the C172 shift+3 sound slider.
