Cannot turn on GNS530XP

I have downloaded files GNS530_only.zip and replaced RXPGNS.ini and panel.cfg into A2A-C172 folders. When moving the mouse over the GNS530 it senses the knobs but when I left click the power button it changes to a hand but does not turn the unit on. Can you help?

do your other electrics work OK, is your battery depleted?

Yes, engine is running 800rpm, panel lights working taxi lights etc, fuel pump on.

Hi Again,
I have just tried another aircraft fitted with the GNS530XP and that also cannot be turned on even though other instruments are OK. So I think it is something to do with the installation.

Okie dokie. As far as we understand there is no support for RXP with no one hearing anything from the developer for quite sometime, so afraid I'm not sure what to suggest.

Hello Lewis,
As a last ditch attempt I reinstalled the GNS programme from RealityXP and it has done the trick. It installs into the Trainer correctly and is able to be turned on and used, otherwise I don't know what I would have done. There are one or two other smaller problems I have but I will play around with them for a while before I get in touch. Thanks for your help.
