Hi, my name is Aaron, and i'm having a problem starting the engine, I read the previous posts and the problems seem to be over priming but I don't think is me over priming because when I go into the maintenance window there is yellow text saying low voltage, and when I click it it makes a sparking sound then go's away. But is still doesn't start. Also the volt light comes on when I turn on the battery. I've also tried turning off then back on the field and that didn't work either.
I appreciate any help thank you.

Hello,
Do you have the latest Accu-sim update?
Also does the auto start work for you?
And lastly what battery are you using and is it charged?
Thanks,
Lewis

Re: Engine won't start, low-voltage
Are you following the preflight and engine start checklist to the t?
Having a low voltage just means that the engine will have a harder time cranking and you will not have many more chances to start it before you need to go to the maintenence hangar to recharge the battery.
The low voltage light is illuminated because the alternator is not producing power and the battery is discharging.

When you say, "it doesn't start"... the prop is turning?
Also, keep clicking on the yellow text until it goes away... might take a couple times. After charging (and before trying to start again) that red "volts" in the annunciator panel should be gone.

Ok, I think I've figured it out, I don't think I was pushing the Mixture in fast enough. But I will do more testing with the suggestions you guys have suggested and if I need more help then I come back here. Thank you.
