Cockpit sounds missing after upgrade/reinstall to P3D V2.5

Anyone run across this issue after upgrading/installing to P3D V2.5? Cockpit sounds missing (engine, switches, flap motor) can hear the tires rolling and bending aluminum on crashes. External view engine sounds ok. Probably missing or corrupt sound file(s), but which one(s)? Tried repair option on installation but no joy, also ran the 4_2015 update.

Thanks for the suggestion, tried simconnect still no joy ... I also have the A2A 182 installed, it works fine (all sounds, etc) - actually better than fine, both of these sim aircraft are fantastic!

Ahh OK, have you run the latest updater after installing the aircraft?

One other suggestion is to check the Accu-Sim volume slider in the shift + 3 'controls' panel. This adjusts the volume of internal engine and switch sounds and can be set independently for the C172 and C182. It may be worth checking the value in the C172 isn't at full left for some reason by clicking the little '+' next to the text 'volume'. By default, the slider should be at max volume (full right).
