Hello,
what are you using to drive the hardware?
A Third party program such as SPAD.NeXt will be required.
thanks,
Lewis

Yes I believe so, by default the Saitek adavanced hardware only supports very basic default stuff, for the advanced simulations SPAD is needed to correctly map and use the hardware.

I installed SPAD and everything fell apart literally.
Nothing worked at all
p3d crashed
and multi panel did not work at all
radio panel did not work at all
trim wheel crashed P3d
i followed the installation by the letter
uninstalled the sitek drivers first
restarted
made sure the reg is clean
installed
made the new profile for the c172
and so on.....
and just nothing but major issues and problems.
so frustrated now ..
maybe i am doing something wrong.. but i have been a computer tech since ages .. so nothing from my part
cheers.. if you have any suggestions please let me know
thanks again for trying to help out,

Hello,
I'd suggest a visit to the spad.next forums to check how it all works, I'm not a user of the software or hardware.

Everything is working now with some maybe 2 switches.
Spad.Next trial did nothing.
I decided to gamble and but the paid version.and for some reason, the paid version made everything work except for some minor issues, which I am sure can get fixed.
Your C172 is just fantastic, and with all the Panels working now. Feels as real as it gets.
Thanks again for all the help and for your direction.
Much appreciated.
cheers.

Re: P3d /C172 Saitek Multi Panel ( Auto Pilot)
I have been using Spad.next for my Multi Panel and Switch Panel Saitek devices with my A2A C172 and they work very well. Recently Spad.next upgraded to include the Saitek x52 Pro programability and I have deleted all my Saitek and Madcatz software and use Spad.next to program all my Saitek devices even with some custom features to bring up my GTN 750 and other things. The latest Spad.next paid version is very impressive and works well with all my Saitek devices in P3D with all my A2A aircraft.
I highly recommend it! Happy flying
