Hi Tony,

Check the A2A input configurator to see if your throttle axis is assigned to elevator trim there. That would definitely explain the behaviour you report.

Cheers,
Nick

Hi,

Did you check under the "Input Configurator" in A2A/C172/Tools folder, if you don't have any conflicting bindings?

Okay, it definitely sounds like there's a control conflict somewhere though. Do you use anything like FSUIPC? In fact, if you can give us a bit more info on your host sim platform and hardware setup, it'll be easier to offer advice.

Thanks,
Nick

You have to troubleshoot this problem. First go into P3D and try assigning the throttle to some control that you don't use at all. If it is assigned to something, it will pop up a warning that it is already assigned to elevator. trim for instance. If so, delete that assignment in P3D.

Now check assignments in FSUIPC, and you have to check both aircraft specific and general. Go to assign axis menu and move the throttle and see what it is assigned to. If it is any elevator trim, clear the assignment.

Checked bob... i think the problem is my saitek x52.. my spare joystick works perfect with my fsuipc settings that are aircraft specific.
