Add engine hours?

Post by Corsair015 »

I have just accidentally overhauled my Cessna's engine by clicking the overhaul button without looking, thinking it was "Inspect Engine" because the Mustang's button is in that place.

Is there any way of XMLing engine time back on in the Aircraft.cfg?

Thanks

Hi Corsair015,

The "Documents\A2A\FSX\Cessna172" directory contains some backups of the "C172RLog.dat" file which is used to record your aircraft's accumulated hours and status. (They have the suffix ".bak1", ".bak2" etc.) If you can find one of these files which is dated before your accidental overhau, and then rename it to replace the current "C172RLog.dat" file, you should be able to restore your engine hours.

Thanks,
Nick
