Trying to install update and GTN 750

I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have tried every combination to get this to work. Maybe with what I will show you will lead to a solution. I have installed these products before with no problems. So the way I have it installed should work. Now when I open Fsx and I proceed to load the 172 this is the chain of events that is happening:

Then a dead plane:

Sorry about that. Basically what the messages are "Can't Load File" followed by "Attempt to call a nil value". I saw in another thread that maybe you guys are on top of this. Scott had addressed this saying that there will be a global updater. Will this be for all planes or just warbirds? Thanks.

I have your aircraft for both P3d and FSX. All the P3d planes are running great and the Gtn 750s also running great. FSX, I have been struggling all weekend, thats why I have submiited the thread.

Thank you Lewis. I was trying to use updater from 2017. Everything is well, even the GTN 750. I uninstalled plane. Started from scratch. Installed plane, ran the updater (as administrator), and then the aircraft configurator (as administrator). It was the updater that made the difference. Thanks again.

When installing this program, GTN Complete, I found this to be a cure for me and it seems to be a good fix. In the manual, the section "Garmin GTN Trainer Lite Application" (I find these directions obsolete)Try not doing this step. It thru me for a loop. I uninstalled all bits of the GTN installed throughout my computer. On my reinstall I did a straight install where every thing went according to the installer. Again, Skip that step the GTN trainer installs itself. Go Fly✈. I have the four A2A GA for both sims. Those GTNs don't miss a beat. Really smooth. Lives up to its name.
