Rex WX Radar, A2A Missing Planes.

Post by MailManPilot »

Hi everyone, can anyone offer some advice please?

I've been trying to install the REX WX Advantage Radar into my A2A planes but the WX doesnt see the A2A planes.
The planes are in the in the C:\Users\myname\Documents|Prepared3D v4 Add-ons\A2A
(i also made sure that the config file doesn't have the added \ )

WX Radar is:
C:\WX Advantage Radar (which i believe is its default)

Both products are up todate.

With kind thanks.

Hello,

you will want to ask REX for support of there gauge.

I'd guess there is a place you need to add directories to given that a user could in theory install aircraft anwhere they wish on there system with P3Dv4's directory options.

thanks,

Lewis, with regard to the gauge file location for the A2A planes, if downloaded and installed into their native places, for the latest version of P3D, where would the gauge files be located, as I’m still trying to manually get the REX locator to find the files, but don’t know where to look.

Thank you.

Hello,

the location is whereever you installed too. P3Dv4 is an external application so as per Lockheed's guidelines you can install our software wherever you wish on your system external to the P3D program to allow Lockheed to update P3D without having to reinstall all your add-ons etc.

The default P3Dv4 add-on location is \Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons

Hi Lewis.
Thank you again, the files for all my A2A plans are in the Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-on, but I had to manually point the Rex Gauge to the SimObject files for each of my A2A planes so the Radar to get installed to the planes.
Have a good weekend :)
