GPS GTN 750 and AP control BROKEN !

Post by Gabe777 »

Just updated to P3Dv4.4, latest GTN from Flight1 and latest C172 update.

AP simply not following flight plan

Hit GPS on panel, GPS magenta on GTN, and hit Nav on AP,

Just heads off on random coursr.

Please fix. Never has this before ?

Have you been bought out bt Carenado ?

It works fine here Gabe. Please can you provide a bit more info on exactly how the cockpit and GTN are set up, ideally via a screenshot or two.

Also, have you tested the functionality with a default aircraft to rule out any issues with the way the GPS is setup in general?

Thanks,
Nick

Well its a while since i used the 172.

If I hit GPS on the GTN, what should the setting be in the 172.... GPS or NAV ?

I am hitting GPS on both and it aint working.

I shut my pc down and then thought maybe it is actually the NAV button on the glareshield in the cockput I shoyld be pressing ?

Unintuitive but possibly the correct way ?

It's the CDI icon on the GTN itself you should be using Gabe (visible in "map" mode).

Thanks,
Nick
