Correct shutdown procedure?

Post by Illi73 »

The manual doesn't mention this and as far as I can see nobody asked this on the forum yet either?

What would be the correct shutdown method for this plane? Pull the mixture off all the way till the engines stop, or stop the engines by flipping the magneto switches?

I like to do things the right way, if possible. :)

Anything else you'd pay special attention to when it comes to shutdown?

Hi...

I don't have the plane in question - but - for every piston I've ever flown - it's Mixture - Mags - Master... I would assume you should shutdown the engines by pulling the mixture to cut fuel flow - after shutting down all the electronics...

Scott
