Visiting St. Barthelemy

Post by gulredrel »

Hello,

my old St. Barths pics thread has become a victim of photobucket... but time has passed and I did a new visit there.
Some crosswind made it special this time, but crosswind training in the T-6 helped a lot.

I was too concentrated on the first approach to hit the screenshot button. Bounced a bit, but was down on the first third of the runway and had plenty of room after hard braking.

Second takeoff run.

Took a nice round to St. Martin / St. Marteen

Since I'm only a sim pilot, I've no idea if it's legal to overfly the airport, but I had to take the shot of the famous beach

And finally back to St. Barthelemy

Rollout to reach the turning area at the end of the runway.

It's not fly Tampa, the scenery is part of the Carribean Sea Plane Tours East package.
