I'm new to A2A aircraft and just bought the Piper Cherokee for P3D and all seems to work fine, except for the brakes.
The parking brakes seem to have an ever so slight braking effect, but my toe brakes dont seem to respond at all. I checked the connection and calibration for my pedals, but all looks fine. Can someone please help me out?
Using Saitek Pro Flight Pedals, with FSUIPC(latest version) and P3D 2.3
Thanks

Hello,
have you looked at mapping via the included mapper and also are you a SPAD user. Saitek users recommend SPAD over the default software. Also please check you have the correct settings (100%) in FSX regarding sensitivity etc.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: Brake problem in P3D 2.3
I'm using SPAD indeed, but SPAD is for panels only, it doesnt do anything for yoke or rudder.
I've got my controllers set up through FSUIPC right now. I didnt get any new icons on my desktop, so I didnt consider there would be a dedicated program for it.
I'll see if I can find the mapper and what I can do with it, thanks

Hello,
please look under your start menu >> all programs for the normal place for your software shortcuts. The manual for the simulation is also located there.
thanks,

Re: Brake problem in P3D 2.3
please go to your FSUIP config and change this: BrakeReleaseThreshold=75 to 0.
Re: Brake problem in P3D 2.3
I'm sorry it took a while to get back to you. My computer's PSU died and I just got it repaired and everything set up again and finally had time to get back to this issue.
I had a look at the configurator, but I didnt see any options for brakes there. So I guess the brakes have to be set either through P3D's own control settings, or FSUIPC.
So I changed the BreakRelease in FSUIPC.ini to 0 and this helped.
Thanks guys!
