My starter button will not turn engine to fire up,
the engine can be started with Ctrl e
any suggestions please

Are you priming a warm engine? Remember, the engine stays warm even if you shut down and restart FSX.
If the engine is hard to start, try advancing the throttle 3/4 then cranking, as this would clear out a flooded engine.

Have you checked for a popped or loose fuse during your pre-flight? Accu-Sim loves to pop them now and again

These aircraft have become so real that, it's become quite common for one of us to spend an hour troubleshooting something we think is a bug, when it turns out to be something simple / real.
