Fatal Error Occurred.

Post by Ron Attwood »

It occurred as I was preparing to land, if it matters, at KBLU Orbxland. I was flying the Cherokee at the tail end of a 120nm flight.

Here's the Event Viewer report.

Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14
Faulting module name: A2A_Accusim.DLL, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x558ecd60
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0003549e
Faulting process id: 0xa84
Faulting application start time: 0x01d0c64a861bc6ee
Faulting application path: C:\FlightSimulatorX\fsx.exe
Faulting module path: C:\FlightSimulatorX\GAUGES\A2A_Accusim.DLL
Report Id: 3052795d-3247-11e5-a59e-00241d7f3807

This was online with another guy flying the A2A Comanche. If that's relevant.

Any ideas techie types? :D

Hey Ron,

no idea. How complex was the scene and was it a long flight or at least has you had the sim running for a long period of time, flying or even loaded but on the menus?

thanks,
Lewis

So there's no confusion, this wasn't an OOM. The scenery was Orbx NCA flight time approx 50 minutes. None of those numbers mean anything to you? :?

While I was in the Event veiwer I saw I had a shed load of "Session "Microsoft Security Client OOBE" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D" which I tracked down and took care of. It could well be that was at the root of it. We'll see. Stand down for the time being, I'll come back if it happens again. :D

:D Not any more! That did have something to do with it. Dare I say, it seems to have resolved itself.

That was how my MSE was set up, with FSX excluded. We'll see what happens next. :)

A thought occurred to me. Accusim works outside of FSX, is that right? If that is the case, where are the files relating to it. Then I/one could make an exception of them in MSE. No? :?

Hi,

I use to have the same problem with my C172 and C182 - same windows error with same error log. I have Windows 8.1 Pro. The issue occurred during flight, when I tried to open any of the plane windows. I have not experienced the issue, since I updated my Simconnect.

- Run the Microsoft FSX Simconnect installer here: http://a2asimulations.com/public/downlo ... onnect.msi

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks Will, I'll do just that. Lewis my whole FSX folder is excepted.
