So does it ever work in FREQ mode for you? If not, maybe you could try it with the 'no GPS' option to see if that makes any difference...

I reckon that if it works in the GPS mode you have without the GTN it'll work the same way for me. It would work in FREQ mode.
So I'll keep it the way it is and use it in RMT mode.

Yeah - probably the simplest solution! RMT mode is usually the most convenient too.
