Hi all,
I just moved from FSX:SE to P3D v4. I purchased the P3D v4 version of the Cherokee and installed it -- but I can't get it started! It looks like when I try and start the engine, it immediately empties the selected tank of fuel...I fill both tanks to full using the A2A loading screen...then try and start...the engine sputters and the prop spins a couple of times, then it dies. When I check the fuel again, that full tank is empty! Same thing happens if I switch to the other tank, or try and fill the tank when it is sputtering. Please help!
New P3D v4 install, can't start the plane!

Hi - please can you open the maintenance hangar (shift 7) and tell us what you find. It should help to give us a clue as to whether a missing SimConnect installation may be the problem here.
Thanks,
Nick

It could be the simconnect you have installed.
Check your P3D director and run the simconnect similar to here and then restart your PC;

thanks,P3D - Installed but nothing works and all is broken!?
P3DV2 sometimes wont install the required simconnect files. No worries though as they are provided by Lockheed in the following directory;
\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib
