Rain drops even after turning off weather.

Post by B-17 Flier »

I’m sorry if this has been discussed before but it’s been a while since I last took the Cherokee out for a spin. So I placed it at an airport, turn on AS4 and I had such bad rain and thick clouds I couldn’t fly so I shut off AS4 and the skies are clear but still have rain drops on my windshield. It’s kind of comical.

P3D 4.4, AS4, everything up to date.

Hello,

yes that sounds normal as the active sky is still running. You will need to restart the flight.

thanks,

Hello Paul,

It seems that if you just kill ActiveSky during the sim session, whatever weather effects it last injected are still seen as active by the windshield rain module. As Lewis says, restarting the sim without loading ActiveSky will be necessary in this case.

Thanks,
Nick
