Post by willemstolwerk »

Hi All,

After installing / updating via the links in the forum, still the issue remains.

Asked for a account swap, but still no respons ( 2 weeks at least ).

Please can I get a reply / fix for this.

Bought on FSPilotshop approx 1 year ago ;they say they can't help me with this issue.

Busy with my PPL atm and now im grounded for over 1 month due to this SW issue.

Help is required.

Best regards,

Will

Hi Will and welcome to the A2A forums.

From your post, I'm afraid I'm not sure what the issue is that you're experiencing.

If you can give us a description of the problem, and let us know which host simulator you're using, we'll do our best to assist. It's possible any ground steering issues are related to using an old version of the Cherokee installer for Prepar3D v4, but without any info on your sim installation, it's hard to offer useful advice.

Thanks,
Nick

Hello,

have you re-downloaded your product to get the latest updater?

You mentioned the account migration but as noted in those instructions this is to move from the old to the new A2A Store. If you purchased via a third party you can simply re-download to grab the latest installer from your store of choice.

thanks,

I had this problem when I first installed the Cherokee after getting P3Dv4. I had installed it with the original installer I got when I last downloaded the Cherokee. I couldn't get the plane to turn on the ground.

It turns out that there is a new P3Dv4 installer. Check the downloads section for your account and you should find it. The new installer does not look anything like the old one, and you should notice a difference immediately.

If you're using P3Dv4, enjoy the windshield rain effects. :) I wasn't expecting them and it was a nice surprise.
