By request, for those who might want the gauges without reflections and the radio stack minus the incriminating fingerprints (the bodies are hidden in front of the firewall)

Re: Clean Glass Panel Mod (WIP)
taildraggin68,
Thanks again for taking the time to indulge my obsessive compulsion for a clean looking panel. It's like getting a nice detailing job done on the interior to clean up the greasy french fry finger prints from my passengers
Like Mr. Scott, your reputation as a miracle work is intact!

Thank you so much for this, taildraggin. They who put the fingerprints on in the first place really did a first-rate job, but I much prefer the panel without them.
Re: Clean Glass Panel Mod
Scott.....Dont give away the location of the bodies.....You know how the FAA feels about stowaways......

Re: Clean Glass Panel Mod
why would you want to remove them. Once they are installed from the factory, they will never be fingerprint free...it's just a fact of life. To have no fingerprints on the radios would be like having no bugs on the wing leading edges. Oh, wait a minute, I don't think I have any bugs on my wings. Oh well, guess the clean radios will fit right in then. But I prefer the prints and smudges...looks like I actually use them.

Re: Clean Glass Panel Mod
Like JClay, I'm a bit OCD when it comes to interiors. I even periodically give the instrument cluster in my car a wipe to keep the dust off it. To each their own, I suppose.monica6211 wrote:why would you want to remove them.
