Amphibian version? Please? :)

I *love* my A2A Cessna 182; it was my favorite plane when Dad got it for me for FSX and now that we upgraded me to P3D v4, it's my favorite plane in P3D now. Not even a question whether it was worth buying a new version for it; it totally was. And the nice paint kit and really good job with the UV unwrap for it is a bonus for sure!

Only one thing that would be better...an amphibious version! I think it would be the best one out there if you made one. I know they exist out in the real world; Wipaire right here in MN (at KSGS, even) makes it: https://www.wipaire.com/aircraft_page/c ... 2-skylane/

I would totally buy it, I promise; and with P3D v4 having such good performance and there being such nice scenery for great float-plane flying, I bet lots more would too.

Thanks for making a great plane! :)

Totally agree.

I am very keen to see A2A-grade float planes for P3D.

Sorry peoples, at least for the moment (Development is ever changing) no plans for floats at the moment.

thanks,

That's a shame Lewis, after reading through this forum for many years a bush viable aircraft is probably one of the most requested. The j3 is a beauty but something with a bit more power (float, tundra, ski) would sell like hotcakes. Hopefully one day......

What a coincidence - I was just thinking about asking the same question... Indeed, a float/amphibian version of any of your post-Cub models would be a bestseller. I've been flying mostly in and out Alaska/BC area and occasionally here in Norway (fully covered by Orbx), Sweden, and Finland, where a floating birdie is a must! 8)

For the 182, or in general? :)

Ouch.

Not having any floatplane development on the horizon is quite a blow. While there are some floats out there, they don't have the same level of sophistication and detailed management that you get with A2A aircraft. Oh, I so wish some developers would give floatplanes some "study-level" attention and provide some "bush-maintenance" meta-simming to go with it.

I will be pushing for Accu-feel to come to P3Dv4 soon enough, there are some water issues with P3D due to the aircraft not exactly following the waves in certain situations but overall its great and should add a hint of Accu-sim to your float plane fleet for the P3D simulation platform.

thanks,
Lewis

Oh, that would be nice! Is it something that is for certain size planes? Like it would even work right with a Twotter?

*still pouting over no C182T amphib though* :P

So I guess not having a bush plane is P3D's fault.

Wait a minute...is that why you guys cancelled the aircraft you were working on.

No sorry, just no plans for it at the moment.
