Red nav light square sort of v4

Post by victoroos »

Hi all
Just installed the 182 for v4, and noticed that the red nav light looks weird & out of place.
Anyone else noticing this? How can I share a picture of it(if you want)

Hello,

normally this is because something on your P3Dv4 install has overwritten the default P3D file with an FSX type effect. If you revert the effect back to default the effect will return to how it should be.

thanks,

How is the best way I can revert back? By reinstalling the a2a?

Hello,

no this isn't one of our files but a P3D file. Can you let us know what you did post 182 installation? Did you run anything that might modify our files for example?

thanks,
Lewis

TO be really very honest with you, I don't think I changed anything to the files. I keep everything in the addon folder etc

Hi Victor - do you have the A2A C172 installed in P3DV4 as well, or just the 182?

In terms of add-ons, I believe 'SPAI' is one product which has caused a similar issue. Please see this topic for more info.

Thanks,
Nick

Okay, sounds like SPAI could be the culprit in that case.

However, there's also a small bug with the 182 whereby the nav/beacon light effects mistakenly refer to texture files for the 172. There's a temporary fix here, until A2A release an official update.

Thanks,
Nick
