Gtn 750 frame rate issue

I have bought the flight one gtn 750 a few weeks ago. And was wounding if there is a way to cut down on the frame rate on the gps, it is to the point where flying is rather difficult. I understand I don't have the best computer but I was hoping to get back to my 15 20 frame per second. Thanks ain advise would be wounderfull
