Hello and welcome to the forums,

normally this issue is a simple simconnect issue. For example P3D users;

P3D - Installed but nothing works and all is broken!?

P3DV2 sometimes wont install the required simconnect files. No worries though as they are provided by Lockheed in the following directory;
\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib

Are you a P3D user?

Also are you all updated also with the latest Accu-sim Updater?

Hello Lewis, Hello A2A Team
Thanks for your welkom,
I have downloaded the DOWNLOAD
http://www.a2asimulations.com/downloads ... _03_15.zip and have executed it.
I have FSX sim.
I STILL HAVE NO SOUND OF THE ENGINE IN THE COCKPIT VIEW however when i land i have the sound of the wheels touching the ground.
The needle of the EGT GAUGE stays down and there is somthing flikkering in the gauge.
It seems to be a fantastic sim plane but fly without the engine noise is impossible.
Thanks for your help
Pirlote

Okie dokie, if its an FSX issue then I would check your FSX is all updated, it sounds like maybe your FSX is not updated to the latest version?

Are you using FSX Disc or FSX Steam edition?

thanks,

Hello Lewis,
I use FSX disc Gold Edition with Flight Acceleration windows 10. I must say that when i implemented A2A C182 Skylane somewhere during of after this precess when i tried to lauch FSX i had a message saying that there was a conflict with Fstramp. So i deleted Fstramp and i could lauch FSX and start A2A C182 with the result you know.
Just to be compleet, i think from what i have seen everything works flies, i think i could utilise a lot of functions seen in the video !!!
Thank You
Pirlote

Hello,

Accu-sim sounds play through the windows default sound device, is this turned on and up?

Did you try the simconnect reinstall?

thanks,

Hello Pirlote,

One other suggestion: there's a volume control within the shift + 3 "controls" pop-up menu and you should make sure the grey bar is all the way to the right by clicking the "+" symbol next to the text "VOLUME".

Cheers,

Hello Lewis hello Nick,
Thank you. I am sorry i can't make myself understandable because i am frensh speaking. I WANT TO SAY THIS: THE SOUND IS NOT NOT NOT WORKING IN COCKPIT VIEW ALL COCKPIT VIEWS. THE SOUND IS IS IS WORKING IN OUTSIDE VIEW(SSSSS). THIS MEANS SOUND IS ON AND WORKING. TO BE ABLE TO FLY
WITH SOUND, I ADD A NEW VIEW LIKE SPOT VIEW AND SO I HAVE THE SOUND, HOWERVER ZOOMING ETC APPLIES TO THE ADDED SPOT VIEW AND NOT TO THE MAIN COCKPIT 3DV VIEW.
THANK FOR HELPING FOR SUGGESTIONS

No - that's not exactly true Pirlote. The virtual cockpit sounds work differently to the external sounds and their volume can be controlled separately using the slider in the shift + 3 menu that I mentioned above. That would be the first thing to check, then if this doesn't help, check to see what is your default sound device in Windows as Lewis mentioned.

Thanks,
Nick

@pirlote
I have had this happen too with the A2A 182, also the volts show 12vdc at times when this happens, new battery install does not help. The only way I can get the 182 back is to reinstall it, deleting the config files for this plane (the one's for the condition of the plane) don't even help.
I have the A2A 172 and the Piper Cherokee too but these planes don't act in this manner. The 182 will do this if I don't fly it for a few days. I m not going to trouble shoot this issue any longer as I believe it is a bug in the A2A code and not FSX itself...

My problem is the reverse of his,I have inside cockpit sound but none outside. In the C182 only ( My C172 and Comanche run ok). Now when this happens,my avionics don't switch on at all....they do on the hardware, I use Saitek instrument hardware with SPAD..Next. I have to point out that sometimes out of the blue (usually when I fly the C172 or Comanche,land,switch off plane then 'change vehicle' to the C182 right there,then the C182 has outside sounds and my avionics work again. I am stumped.

Nah,like I said it does have sound at times,so it's probably a mess up on my side,and believe me,you can't troubleshoot that. So much crap on this computer anyway and my other craft haven't the problem. Thanks for the reply though.
