Hi all,
I just purchased A2A C182 for p3d V3. Since I installed it, I can't get P3D to run. When ever I start a flight it crashes. Even if C182 isn't the plane I am flying

Hello,
the aircraft wont affect the whole sim for a crash. What is your default flight, are you loading striaght into sim or to the main menu etc?
thanks,
Lewis

Re: After installation of A2A c182 P3d won't lunch
When I lunch P3D it goes into the menu. My default flight is with F22 in KVBS airport. Since I posted that Thread the problem was solved, somehoh, later on it started again. I reinstalled P3D and installed A2A on a clean P3D working P3D and again it crashes when I start a flight. So I changed my starting airport, and now it works. Weird work around, but why does A2A affects it this way?

I had many. But I reinstalled everything (including deleting App data files). Now after I reinstalled, it happens also on a clean installation with just c182 addon. The funny workaround I found was; starting with f22 at 200000 feet and then move to the airfield I want.Lewis - A2A wrote:What other add-on's are you running?

Re: After installation of A2A c182 P3d won't lunch
I have the same problem. I tried as Administrator but same issue...
I start P3D V3.4. I have it set to go to the menu to select the aircraft, location, weather, etc. I select the 182 and leave other option as they were. The progress bar appears and goes through the dreaded 6% area. At the very end of the loading process (air, land, sea, etc) it crashes.
If I start P3D 3.4 with a different aircraft it performs as it should. THEN if I change to the 182, without restarting, the 182 comes up ok and performs as it should. I have also started P3D, selected the 182 and it would come up with no controls connected, needing a complete overhaul, and no sound. No way to recover from that. It seems safe to relate the issue to the startup phase after the P3D options menu.

Hi Folks,
This “sounds†like the MS Win10 Patch issue that has been discussed at length... The work around I had - was start the flight with the default Piper Cub at a default airport - then swap to the plane/location of my choice... LM reported it to MS who acknowledged a problem with their patch and an update was due out “middle of November†last I looked...

I just updated to Fall Creator's Update for Windows10. No change.... No idea what was in the "glob of stuff" that made up the update. Will be on the lookout fot "patches". In the meantime start with A and swap to B is not too bad...
