Nose gear locked on all A2A aircraft

Post by DeeJay »

Dear A2A team,

a little question about my last experience with A2A planes: I can't steer any of them on the ground anymore because the nose gear seems to be locked in the center position. If I look from the outside, the rudder works - visually and functionally - as it should when giving a pedal input. So in the air everything is all right. But on the ground the nose gear is stuck.
It happens in all A2A aircraft (also in those that can normally be steered very easily on the ground, for example the Cherokee) and didn't happen before my last try. I couldn't remember having changed anything, except updating P3D from v4.1 to 4.2. However the problem existed before the update and this seems to be independent from the sim version.

Is there just something I didn't see in the maintenance? Or might it be some other conflict with the system?

Of course, no auto rudder activated.

Thanks in advance!
Dominik

Hi all,
I am having the same issue on my new C182. I bought it via simmarket.

I followed the steps described in this threat but get the following error message. “The installer could not locate the A2A_accusim.dll file that should be located in your GAUGES folder”....

I really checked and rechecked correct path and the dll file, it’s there. Apart from ground steering, the aircraft works fine in P3D v4.2 (academic) The gauge is there while it says it’s not...

Am I doing something wrong?

William

Helllo Lewis,

i have installed my aircraft outside the P3D folder. i have amended the addons.CFG to the correct path and all show up in P3D (as per this forum guidelines). The aircraft flies fine.

I have pointed the update executable to the same path as where the main A2A folder is copied to.

it is on the same harddisk as P3D (V4.2), but outside the main P3D folder.

william.

[i made a seperate threat on this subject, oplogies for replying here, please diregard my message in this threat]
