The plane has been working flawlessly since I bought it a month ago. Flew it this morning--everything is fine--and returned 3 hours later to find it totaled, every part and system red. Unable to fix anything with mouse clicks. Attempts to reset teh 182 failed. Re-installed twice, and that failed. Used a Windows restore point and that failed. Default FSX planes (I'm using Steam edition) work fine. The error message I get is something like "attempt to access a null value." At a loss. Help would be appreciated.
Need to amend my post: default FSX planes are not fine. They load with no fuel.

Re: Totaled At Launch
Hello,
it seems you may have used dynamite to fish a little pond here. You nuked the install and windows before trying the simple steps first which should have resolved the issue. The issue sounds like a simple sim-connect error. A restart and a brand new flight maybe coupled with a sim-connect install most probably will of had you up and flying
Ok so where are we at that, you have a P3Dv4 installed and 182 installed?
Try starting a brand new flight and if you changed your default flight, get the default flight saved back to using a default P3Dv4 aircraft.
thanks,
Lewis

Thanks. Back up and flying. I "repaired" Simconnect and that solved the problem. Thanks again!
