GTN 750 - Radios fail after starting Comanche

Post by Perk »

It seems like every time I start up the Comanche, I get failures on the GTN750 radios. I can reset them from the failures panel easily enough, but I was curious if maybe the electrical system modeling is a little too good. There's no avionics master, and no easy way to turn the GTN750 on/off except with the airplane master, so I just leave it on during startup. I'm wondering if the electrical simulation thinks I've left a radio on when the engine is cranked and gives me an electrical failure as if I spiked the radio?

Am I just nuts or is this theoretically possible? Is there any chance of getting a nice retrofit avionics master option the next time you guys do an update for the Comanche? :lol:

Hi.
Yes there is an avionics master switch on the panel , hidden to the right of and behind the yoke.

Hello,

it sounds like you need to run the latest updater;
http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 25&t=41279

And remember we use our own failure and wear and tear simulation engine so you will want to check the maintenance hangar and pre-flight walk around and checklists to discover issues.

The manual for your software is under your start menu > all programs > A2A Simulations.

thanks,
Lewis
