Scott pretty directly shot down the Aerostar earlier in this thread. I would take him at his word that it's not the "undisclosed project".
Given that the Comanche was 3 years in the making, and it sounds like the Accu-sim Aerostar has not yet commenced, I'd say that it may well happen, but those wanting it (including me) will have to hold their breathe for another 3 to 4 years.

I am not really that interested about the undisclosed project yet at this moment but more of that product which has been in 'regular' development and was due announcement before this mystery one took over. With engine STCs and possibly tip tanks. ;)

I am still in good hope for the T-33, announced as an possible project in 2014. Beside the Lotus L-39 there isn´t a good Jettrainer on the market yet.

I'd take anything accu-sim at this point in time really. Almost one and a half years since the connie was released now. I realise that they are working on new tech and simultaneous projects but still.
Cheers!/Andreas

I feel very much the same, at the moment. Of course, that may change when I find out what the "undisclosed project" is, but the Accu-Sim plane that was hinted at in November, for possible release in December, is what I'm waiting for with baited breath. It would be great if this could be released before Easter. If the "undisclosed project" is being held up because of delays being experienced by the other partners involved, one would hope that A2A might release the new Accu-Sim project once it is ready.

Cheers,
Mike

Yeah, all these talk about release being via new channel and everything puts me into calm Wait And See -mode with it. :) However, the 'regular' Accu-Sim might have been in development for more than a year; I suppose it may have attracted all kinds of interesting stuff over it during the time in development. Perhaps even extending that famous 'bucket of features' into 64-bit domain, if that ever was any limitation.

Just saw an FB post from Boultbee showing scenes from a photo shoot, hinting at a Spitfire development. Comment says hoping to make an announcement NEXT month...

I really hope we hear something from Scott this month.

Mike

I wonder if the guys who were escorting bombers in P-38s and P-47s had any idea that the P-51 Mustang was on the way? If so, they were probably anticipating the Mustang the same way we're anticipating the next A2A machine.

Oh man... I hope it's a B-25. Or a Cessna 185 or a 310.

Some did know, but the 61st Fighter Squadron, which had more aces than any American unit in the war including Gabby Gabreski, top American ace in Europe, chose to retain the P-47 over the P-51.=
