Freeware scenery of WWII Training Airfields?

Post by gulredrel »

Hello,

I've got Hobbs AAF WWII bomber training base freeware scenery.

Does anyone have other freeware training airfields in WWII era style?

Regards
Jens

Ian Parkers airfields are really nice (I think you are reffering to them) and I've installed several of them.

I should have been more precise, I am looking for bases in the US.

Rattlesnake bomber base, is a free add on available from most of the usual places, Flightsim, SOH, etc.

A couple of pics with an idea off Rattlesnake base.

Thanks Chris. Seems I messed up P with the website, but we all meant the same :D

Thanks for the hint to Rattlesnake. Little more to install, but it's worth the effort:

@bmbrzmn101: Is there something conflicting in your scenery library? Your parkingspots in front of the hangars look a bit weird.

Jens, There could be a conflict somewhere with mine but unfortunately I am not fluent enough to figure it out. That was the most difficult scenery install I have ever attempted. I may uninstall and complete reinstall at a later date, but not right now. My computer can't really handle the scenery very well frame rates are down to about 5-7 when around the airport. I am wanting to get a new computer anyway so I may just wait to address it then.

Glad you enjoyed it!!
