Hey Lewis, for A2A repaints, has A2A considered hosting your own server that people here could use?

We've seen different servers come and go, great paints become unavailable, etc.

It would be nice to have a permanent server folks could count on.

Not to hijack. The Jankees paints are great and luckily I have all the ones I’ve downloaded on a backup NAS. But there are so many beautiful paints that are no longer available because free hosting accounts get abandoned, servers die, etc.

Why not upload to FlightSim.Com?

22+ years of uninterrupted service, hosting files for the flight simulator community. That's about as permanent a server as you're going to find.

Does this mean that Aussiex is now defunct or will it be restored?

Yes, I fear the ozx site is gone for now, though JayKae may still be able to salvage something. People kept asking where to find my textures however. This is why I am now uploading my paints on both avsim and sim-outhouse, spreading the risk.
I hope you will enjoy them.

How about FlightSim.Com? 22 years of uninterrupted service to the flightsim community. We're glad to host these or any other files that people create.
