Hehe nice shot. Not and easy formation to fly for the Phantom I guess at those relatively low speeds!jeansy wrote:getting an escort

Lest we forget...
An aeroplane taxi's by, eager to take-off. Let's not forget that it can do so because of the hard work of the two vacuum cleaners that are standing by in the background. Day in day out ready to clean the taxi- and runways. Let's take our flying caps off to these diligent workhorses so that aeroplanes may take to the skies and show off their beauty.
Cheers,
Jan

That's funny, I just landed at Kilimanjaro after a short hop from Nairobi. Cary Grant was on the plane, he wasn't happy about the turbulence. I just said, "hey! Mr. Grant, we just passed the tallest mountain in Africa, what'd you expect?!"

Re: Connie Screenshots
Some beautiful pictures are appearing with the Connie almost looking real! Could I please ask if there are links available anywhere to download these great TWA white top and Britair repaints? I can't seem to find them on this forum nor on searching Avsim or Flightsim.com! Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Re: Connie Screenshots
I was looking at these pics (always nice to see your paints in action!) and thought the paint looked so flat... it took me a while to figure it out, but there are no panel lines in the white paint! So I had another look, and in the paintkit, the lines are set at 'soft light', which is fine with some colours, but apparently not with white. This might explain why I had this same feeling, that something was missing, with some other paintjobs. Anyway, I adjusted the textures and uploaded a new version of this paint, so if you still like it, go back and download it again: http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/fil ... ir-5y-abf/addman wrote:@FAC257

A few pics to show the difference:
of course, if you can't see the difference, then you don't need to download anything...
FS painter. You'll find most of my FS9/FSX/P3D paints here.
