I took the Connie again and started a company tour with it across mediterranean islands.
This is a shot taken after leg 1/20, from Larnaca to Lemnos.

After a long stretch of cutting my teeth on the Comanche 250 I made a few more flights in the Connie. This flight was Mogadishu, Somalia HCMM to Khartoum, Sudan HSSS and ended with a pay raise.

The AC could not keep up on descent with cabin temps holding at 30C. On the ground the passengers were met with 41C temps at the stairs

Dressed in wool suits, neckties and dresses, they still take the heat in stride!

PMDG can't implement a "passenger experience" feature like A2A because every flight would result in some sort of legal action by the passengers! :D

This Sunday flight brought another pay raise. I've been working my way from Asia across the Pacific. This flight started at Bonriki Intl NGTA on Tarawa I and ended at Nadi Intl NFFN on Fiji Island in the city of Nadi. We had beautiful weather for our very special passenger Grace Kelly.

Cheers
Roger

Nice Rosario, 12 hours flight time and you get a pay raise. Well done Sir. It seems as I get farther into my career my raises are coming in the 70+/- hour time frames :( .

Cheers

Another flight today from Malta to Ajaccio, smooth as silk, even if the landing was not one of my best. I have some troubles when landing at night.
I tried to fly by the numbers, keeping 145 BMEP while climbing and 137 cruising at 10.000'. Numbers were spot on, a tad bit on the higher side thanks to shallow tailwinds.
This aircraft is so rewarding.

Hello all,
Today's flight marks my second trip around the globe and back home in Lockheed's L049 Constellation. I left Barking Sands KHBK on the West shore of Kaua'i and headed home to North Bend Municipal KOTH just a few miles north of me. We had smooth air and good winds giving me an average ground speed of just under 300 knots. General Douglas MacArthur was a guest on this flight and he regaled us with tails from the Pacific.

No pay raise but it is a milestone flight so thought I would post it. The winds made it a pretty tough landing. The crew thought it was much better than I did

Cheers
Roger

247 Career flights and another salary increase. Today's flight is from Cuiaba (SBCY), Brazil to Montevideo (SUMU), Uruguay. Had great weather during cruise. However, the climb out had some bumpy air and the descent had items falling from the overhead compartments

Cheers all. Where are the other Connie Capt's these days. Busy I suppose with the new GA?

So after a long time away from regular siming, I took my Connie up for a flight from EFHK to EKBI, but as I was around 50NM from ESGJ, I had a failure in the pressurization system, and I diverted to land at ESGJ. I was at 20000ft, so I had to come down rather steep. Everything went OK.
This was my second in flight failure.

Took a nice short flight from Naples to Olbia with a VIP on board. Sadly I did not understand who he/she was, but the crew was really excited.
