Hi,
When I'm rotating at take off at 80 knots during the initial lift off my plane shakes a little until reaching 200-300ft AGL.
The payload is pilot, copilot and 5kg of baggage, main fuel tanks full, tip tanks empty.
Is it normal to shake? Tha manual says to rotate at around 70knots, I rotate reaching 80knots and my initial climb is at 90knots and I apply right rudder to keep the plane coordinated.

Re: Shake during initial climb
Hi avduarri,
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to mention this.
A little tap on the toe brakes just after rotation should stop the shudder. It's caused by the wheels spinning.
Thanks,
Nick

Ohh my God! That's fabulous! I know you have to tap the brakes before retracting the gear but I thought "bahh, what could happen if I don't do that? Sure is no difference"Nick - A2A wrote:Hi avduarri,

And PAMMM Accusim hitting on my face! I'm in love with that plane, has reached a level I never imagined.

Now that is something else..and a half
Re: Shake during initial climb
You guys seriously simulated that? I remember that trembling bothering me a lot when I first started flying lessons. Felt like the engine was running very slightly rough for a few seconds after takeoff and low to the ground.
Very very cool!

Outstanding, I was also wondering, but since it stopped once the wheels went up, I figured it had something to do with the gear transition.

Haha, it is cool that so much attention to detail is applied... but why don’t you use better quality bearings!Nick - A2A wrote:Hi avduarri,

Haha just great. Was also wondering what this might be. Great job guys!

Aircraft tires aren't balanced like car tires. It's not the bearings. Plus the tires quickly get out of round from regular use which leads to greater vibration.

Re: Shake during initial climb
Did some pattern work today and noticed the shake and by accident stepped on the brakes one time and it stopped. Looks like everyone beat me to it

Using the toe brakes works like a charm, but using the keyboard brake it doesn't do anything, nor during takeoff or taxi.
Anyone else can check this? Using the keyboard?
Re: Shake during initial climb
It is absolutely accurate for retract planes to have that shake/rumble until the wheels stop spinning.
Since this is my first Accusim plane with retracts, I assumed this was always modeled. In any case, it is a fantastic addition, and you pulled it off brilliantly!

Somebody can check this issue using the keyboard for braking?avduarri wrote:Hi Nick,Nick - A2A wrote:Hi avduarri,
