Two Aircraft with different hours

Post by bryanbass »

Guys....is there a way to have two V35B's with different paint schemes, but they both keep their own hours on the airframe and engine?

No not really. You would have to have two seperate dat files and would have to change and load them each time by closing the game, changing the dat files and starting the game again.

It would probably be a nightmare to remember, but you could make a copy of this folder: Users/Documents/A2A/Bonanza35. Rename the folder with a suffix for that paint. Restart P3D/FSX, pick your other paint, let it create a new folder with dat files, and fly away. When you want to switch to the other paint, rename each folder accordingly (Bonanza35 to Bonanza35Paint2, Bonanza35Paint1 to Bonanza35) and you're all set. I'm old, so remembering something like that every time isn't gonna happen.

It takes me about ten to fifteen seconds to swap .dat files between the folder the simulator reads and dedicated storage folders (a/c type and paint). :D

They're in the folder I mentioned. There's a bunch of them (backups), just copy the folder.
