Hi,

Wondering which window textures do you use? You have such clean windows!

Marcel

PS
The red is indeed in real-life less bright, more dark:

----------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah I know the colors are darker. I mentioned about adjusting the colors in my post once I got them further along. Thanks for noticing though cause I could of forgotten about it (it's an human thing) lol.
About the windows? What you mean? I just use whats in the model. I don't edit the glass or windows...

Thanks Chunk... The cowling on this model is the toughest part to paint. I get right down to actually painting each individual pixel if needed. With that, patience and determination you can have a fairly nice looking paint plus a few other tricks here and there hehehehe

Mmmm, think it's the difference between P3D and FSX then (yes i know i'm still stuck to FSX).

As i think of it "my dirty" windows could be the result of a mip-mapped texture file. I've also removed the mip-maps from the bump-texture to get a sharper looking plane.

Marcel

PS
The colours look great now, and yes can understand your remarks on painting the engine-cowl, only did i repaint and exactly know what you mean. Also discovers the left is slightly different then the right,
so it's not just coping left-side of to the right side.

I can see all the images now and I agree that the red looks much better now. The tail looks especially nice with the big "B" in place. It really is an attractive scheme and I'm surprised it hasn't caught on more becuase it's a great combination between classic and new.

I found out the plane is out of town for a few days. I'll watch and see when they come back and see if I can't catch them this weekend.

Unfortunately, they've been flying a ton the last week and I've not caught them while home. I was hoping to try and catch them Friday, but I now have a flight myself so I'll try Saturday and see if I can catch the plane at home.

You've probably seen these, but if you haven't they'd give a pretty clear idea of how the wings look.
