Flap question.

Post by kenthom »

Just took my first flight in my newly purchased Bonanza. My question is this. I attempted to lower the flaps within the VC. It appears there are different degrees you can set the flaps but they seem to go directly from UP to Full Flap. Is the flap control lever simply very sensitive or am I missing something?

The flaps don't come with any fixed intermediate stops. The switch is UP-OFF-DOWN style, you can run the flaps to any position you want to by returning the switch to OFF position.

Just say out loud "one onethousand, two onethousand, three onethousand" or "one missisipi, two missisipi" etc. - 3sec should about give you 10° Or just simply feel it out.

Figured it out with a little practice. Pretty simple......I expected it to work like tube liners. LOL
