2 smal questions on V35

Post by vince_l07 »

Hi all,

The V35 just joined my C182 and the Comanche in my hangar. :D
Congratulations to the A2A team for this great job. It becomes more and more difficult to choose a plane before a flight. 8)

I have 2 small questions about the equipment of the V35 that I do not understand:

- Can you explain to me the usefulness of the commands "Slave & Align" and the Buttons "CW & CCW"?
- On the autopilot, I have to keep the buttons "Up" and "Down". Ok.
No way to keep it locked / unlocked ?

I noticed a very small problem. I believe that there is already a post on topic in the Forum but I am not sure.

-I have the Flight 1 GTN750: I do not hear the code ILS on NAV1 or NAV2.
It's Ok on the C182 and the Comanche.

P3D v 4.2.

Thank you for your answers.

Best regards

Vincent

Hi Vincent,

Yes, the KA 51B slaving meter is used to place the HSI in 'slaved' or 'free' mode. For normal operation, keep the switch in the 'slave' position and the HSI will adjust itself for gyro drift using a separate magnetic sensor. When this switch is in the 'free' position the, 'CW' and 'CCW' buttons rotate the HSI compass card clockwise or counterclockwise so you can manually adjust for gyro drift instead.

Not 100% sure I follow, but these buttons are designed to be pressed and held to control vertical modes of the autopilot.

Thanks - this is under investigation.
