VR Tooltips in P3D 4.4

This would be a feature request for your consideration. As 4.4 introduces tooltips in the cockpit for VR flyers, they are now too long and sometimes can fill entire cockpit (like for radios). It would be nice and useful if the short forms could be used everywhere (like ADF, HSI and the value). Ideally an option could be useful in aircraft configuration to choose between US/Euro standards, so C/F, mmHg, hpa to make them even shorter. Just an idea - a subject for discussion.
Two examples:
"Heading selector (20 deg)" could be "Heading 20"
"Course (24 Degrees)" -> "Course 24"
These tooltips are bright white, so long sentences especially at night illuminate cockpit and it is quite distracting.
