Not up to A2A standard

Post by mevans »

It is with some trepidation that I write this but The V35, to me , lacks the perfection seen in all the other releases.
Examples:
1 Nosewheel disappears into ground on braking.
2 Seat belts not correctly portrayed in external view.
3 Compass card and other details not portrayed in external view.
4 Delay in throttle response makes taxiing very difficult.
5 Sounds erratic - no sound external with closed throttle and external sounds vary.
6 Gps odd! pop up works normal but, in plane, cannot turn notifications off.

I accept these things from other developers, no names! , but When I fly the Cherokee it looks and feels like perfection.
The V35 does not.

Sorry for the criticism but it doesn't match up to any other of your releases.
Just my opinion.

Regards
Mike

Hello Mike,

Thanks for the polite feedback. We do value criticism and there are a few issues with the Bonanza that we're aware of and which are still being worked on behind the scenes. For example, some problems with virtual cockpit GPS clickability (including item 6 on your list) and the aircraft's electrical system should make it into the next update.

No guarantees that each item on your list can be addressed. (For example, I'm not sure it's feasible to implement dynamic seat belts which are worn by the occupants due to the restricted space to 'hide' them in the rear fuselage.) However, as with the previous Accu-Sim releases, the V35B will hopefully be further refined with future updates.

Kind regards,
Nick

P.S. In relation to item 5, which host sim are you using?

Thanks for the reply Nick
I am using fsx steam.

The 172 & 182 depict pilot wearing seatbelt?
The sound problem occurs at idle - sound disappears, also during flight, if you change settings, the external sound goes 'flat'.
On cockpit gps the tooltip labels for zoom in/out are reversed.

Still love flying it, quite tricky? very sensitive and the visuals and sounds are impressive.

Mike
