Re: Refund possibility
Hi Simon and welcome to the A2A forums.
You're in the right place for customer support. Please can you let us know what the problem is you're having with the Bonanza?
Best regards,
Nick

Re: Refund possibility
Hi Nick,
thx for your quick reply.
I am generally not very happy with the Aircraft and the Sounds. So I just wanted to Check if a Refund is Generally possible when deleting the Aircraft.

Re: Refund possibility
Can you possibly tell us what EXACTLY you find wrong with the aircraft? By doing that you help us pin point whether there is an actual issue with the plane. That allows us to compare the issues you are having with other installations. If there are actual issues we want to discover where they are and correct them.
No problem, and not trying to hassle you or your complaint. We just want our aircraft to be as issue free as possible and by you entering a more exact process than "not being generally satisfied with the aircraft" it helps us to provide better service.
Thank you
Dudley Henriques
Re: Refund possibility
Dear Dudley,
thanks for responding. I dont like the controls on ground when touching down. The whole flying feels very „unstable“ and the airplane really quickly starts to „float“ in the air.
But this is not an issue of the airplane.(Thats probably a very realistic airplane)
I just dont like how this plane feels and I dont get very used to it.

Re: Refund possibility
Thank you for the response. I'll leave the rest of this to Nick and Lewis as this leans toward their area. I hope you get things sorted out properly and to your satisfaction.SW737 wrote: ↑09 Dec 2019, 14:47 Dear Dudley,

Re: Refund possibility
Hi Simon,
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis, but are generally only provided in the event that a customer mistakenly makes multiple purposes or is unable to load the product for some reason.
However, we never want a customer to be left unhappy with their purchase and in your case, we'd really like to help you resolve any control or handling issues you're having. Could you give us a little bit more info on your controller and hardware setup and let us know which sim platform you're using? You also mentioned you're not happy with the sounds. What's the specific issue you're having with them?
It's worth noting that the V-Tail Bonanza does suffer from rather poor yaw stability due to the unusual configuration of the tail, and this can cause some rather unsettling motions in flight. In terms of the take-off, one important factor which flight simmers sometimes overlook, is that additional right rudder input is needed upon rotation to counteract the left turning tendencies that the aircraft has as a result of torque and p-factor for example.
One last question: is this your first purchase from A2A?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Refund possibility
Hi Nick,
thanks for taking care of my issue.
I am using quite an old joystick, without a Z-axis. Thats normally not a problem when activating the „auto rudder“ setting on other planes. But I guess its quite difficult to fly the Bonanza without a z-axis. Especially on the takeoff roll where i am not able to apply additional Right rudder.
Sounds: If i am enroute and in the outside view, the Sounds are very quiet compared to other planes. But the Sound doesnt bother me That much. It is More the Steering which i expected to be a bit different. But please dont get me wrong: the Plane and its steering seems to be very realistic, i just didnt expected That.
I am using FSX and bought the 172 some years ago.

Re: Refund possibility
Thanks for the info Simon.
Yes, to be honest, flying any realistically modelled high performance single engine prop without a rudder axis will be tricky to say the least. Rudder pedals are best, but a twist handle joystick is a good alternative.
Have you ever considered upgrading your joystick? I can recommend the Thrustmaster T.16000m as a very good 'entry level' option. It has Hall effect sensors for high control resolution for the aileron and elevator axes, and it also has a twist handle. I believe they're available for about €60.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Refund possibility
Yes, I think Thats a Good idea, i just didnt expected the controls to be That realistic.
I guess I will Stick to planes with slight less realtistic controls in the future.
But is it maybe possible to delete the plane and get a Refund for it?
