Heading bug movement
Hi just baught the bonanza. I’ve noticed when adjusting the heading bug via dial with click and drag and with mouse wheel it moves in 10 degree increments is this normal? I think I’ve seen videos where they move like other aircraft a degree at a time?

Heading bug
Hi my heading bug and cdi only move in 10 degree increments. I’ve tested the 182 and that heading bug moves 1 degree at a time using mouse wheel. I use gtn750 by flight1.

Re: Heading bug movement
Hi Jetblue and welcome to the A2A forums.
No, what you're experiencing with the 10° increments isn't as intended. So that we can try to help, please can you let us know which host sim you're using?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Heading bug movement
Yes, apologies for the double post. I’m on P3Dv4.4. I also have the issue with the C182 but not the heading bug only the cdi needle. It’s a fresh install of p3d about a week ago. I am also unable to set wheel clocks or tie downs, when trying to set chocks/tiedowns it activates brakes for some odd reason.

Re: Heading bug movement
Okay, thanks for the info. Could you also confirm if you're using the mouse scroll wheel to adjust, or the click and drag function? In any case, it might be worth trying both methods to see if the issue persists. Also, could you try with the 'no GPS' option active in the Shift 3 menu?
As regards the chocks and tie-downs, they're actually aliased to the parking brakes so what you're seeing is normal. Similarly, if a hardware command etc. releases the brakes, the chocks and ropes will also disappear.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Heading bug movement
Ok problem solved I had conflicting controls and that was also the cause for the tie downs to immediately release when set. I have multiple controllers plugged in and p3d though it was a good idea to bind the same control across multiple controllers.
