Hi,

I have recently installed the Fw190A into FSX and it works fine except that the gunsight glass doesn't appear. Only the reticle is visible and I was wondering if there is a fix for this. I have checked that all the correct files are present which they are but still no joy. I realise that this particular model was never intended to be fully FSX compatible but if anyone knows of a work-around for this problem it would be most appreciated.

Also just wanted to say how much I enjoy flying this and all the other Shockwave aircraft, they are really superb!

Unfortunatelly, this can't be fixed without re-exporting the model.
Hey, thanks for kind words!

regards
ROB

Thank you for the quick reply. It's not a major issue and I can live with it. Just wanted to know either way.

Brutus, you could try this: replace old file - reticle_gr.bmp - located in 190's TEXTURE folder with this one:

http://www.shockwaveproductions.com/pub ... cle_gr.zip

This is a "field" fix. Rather not quite good.

regards
ROB

Rob, this is a great fix and I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. The new texture looks very convincing indeed! :D

Many thanks for the great support, especially as this aircraft was not intended for FSX. :D
