Can anyone instruct me on how to set up cows & sheep in version 2,12 please. Have seen it mentioned in the BDG file but not sure exactly what is required? Thank You.

Paul,

Open the bdg text file. Click the Edit button, then click Find.
Type in SHEEP and do a seaerch. You will find these two lines.

Render_Sheep_View_Radius = 0 (set this to 2)
ADD_SHEEP_COWS_AND_HAYSTACKS=OFF (set this to ON)

Render_Sheep_View_Radius= 0 Set to zero, NO sheep are drawn and distributed across the landscape.
This should help lower end PCs a bit with performance as the sheep are fairly numerous. If the user wants sheep to be rendered, change this value to 2.

Oo-arrrr! Where be thems Shoire horses at?

Shire, Clydesdale, Suffolk Punch...they were grazing and roaming all over the place in 1940 and throughout the war, especially with restrictions on petrol and diesel.

Mourn over the passing of a countryside like this, where you could safely leave your children to play.

I've pulled the plug on all 'beef' based processed foods from soups, spreads and mince to frankfurters.

Luckily, there is a family butcher nearby who assures me that none of his products contains meat that once wore a nose-bag.

Joking aside, I'm sure I've seen screenshots of horsedrawn farm machinery?

Great picture Dux, Shires probably or possibly Suffolk Punches (Clydesdales tend to have more white about them I think).

Yeah. I knew about the Shires and haycarts and had used them on the College Farm Objects placings but I was thinking more along the lines of untethered formation grazing. :wink:

Hey! I've just been promoted! Beers on me!
