Hi everyone. I have just purchased my copy of Battle Of Britain 2 and await delivery.

Could you please tell me what updates and patches I will need to load after the game installation.

Hi Warrigal, welcome to BOBII.

If you purchased the CD you will need:

1. Install the CD
2. Install 2.06
3. Install 2.06.1
4. Optional - Install Multi Skin if you PC is a high end CPU and video card

After you get set up and flying well you can consider some other mods as well but get setup and running well first.

Thanks Buddye - will do as you say.

3.06 ghz processor.
128 mb Geforce 6200LE
2 gig DDR2

Think this will support MS

Best regards Warrigal. Look forward to talking to you all in the future.

Hi Warrigal,

Your Video card will be the weak link. Please do not install Multi Skin as your video card is weak (by todays standards).

I think you can run BOBII but at some lower settings. Please start with these settings so you can test the FPS (shift+F). You want to keep the FPS in the high 20's to low 30's for good game play.

Performance biggest savers in BOBII

horizon distance = medium (saves 15%)
weather = medium
particle density = Medium
Object Density = medium

Welcome Warrigal :)

One other thing you could try is the Summer Terrain landscape update (stickied on the main forum). There are some updated FMs too, if you're interested..
