The A2A Simulations Community

My Spitfire computer has been performing (or otherwise!) rather strangely lately. My computer has just jammed completely with this error message which is apparently "critical".

Seeking advice thru the Internet, it would appear that the concensus of opinion is that this is probably caused by my version of DirectX reacting with the graphics card drivers. Can anybody tell me what version of each I should try re-installing? I am running under WindowsXP.
