Hi. I can't wait to get in the air, but I'm having some technical difficulty getting the game (BoB or BoB II?) to load. I purchased the game and downloaded it a few days ago as BOB, then immediately saw that there was an update which included all previous fixes and changes, so I downloaded that as well (BoB II?) After installing BoB, and then downloading and installing BoB II, I also had to purchase, download, and install an Indeo Video Codec ($15) just so I could view the pre-game screens, but now, when I try to "fly" from the intro screen, I can see the program indicating that it's loading textures and backgrounds, but suddenly the screen goes half black and I see the word, "Debrief", but there is also the dreaded "Send / Don't send" Microsoft crash message and I'm frozen. Help, please.

Here are my system specs: Very standard. Currently runs tons of games, especially IL2.

Windows XP Service pack 3, Twin Xeon 2.8 Mhz (dual core) processors, 2 Gigs RAM, Nvidea 5600 FX / 125 MB video card, latest Direct X, Sound blaster, Logitec controller, etc.
Thanks,

Harry

Hi HM, and welcome.
I'm afraid your problem is your 125MB video card, cause I had similar problem until I changed my video card from 125MB to 512MB (my rig is very similar to what you have) so I could play BOBII for the first time. Mind you, I had no problem playing the IL-2 and FS-3 with my 125MB video card neither.
These days you can find a decent 1Gb video card at a reasonable price, may be even cheaper during the Xmas sales :D .

Cheers.

By the way, after video card update, you might as well want to consider increasing your RAM too.

Cheers.

Your best bet will be to start with the link Buddye gave you in the thread
on the main forum: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 17&t=10091

Start by turning everything down as per the example lines in his post, and see how that
works. By the way, I would expect you must have BoB2, because I don't think you would
get as far as the 3D loader screen if you loaded the BoB2 2.11 patch over a BoB1 install,
but I suppose it is a possibility, and in that case it will never work. See my post at the
bottom of your main forum thread http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 10&t=27594
to help you discern if you started with a BoB1 install. If your purchase was a download,
not from a box, then it will be BoB2.
